Fellowship in Climate Change Law. The Sabin Center for Climate Change Law is seeking a research scholar for a two-year fellowship at Columbia Law School beginning on September 1, 2018. Under the supervision of Michael Gerrard, Faculty Director and Michael Burger, Executive Director, the fellow will conduct independent research, literature reviews, and benchmarking studies on a wide variety of issues related to Climate Change Law, as well as develop and implement advocacy strategies. Fellows work on a wide variety of research and writing projects concerning climate change mitigation and adaptation; contribute to advocacy-oriented programs and projects; help organize conferences, seminars, and collaborative publications; contribute to conceptualization, management and implementation of the Center's web resources; and assist with oversight of interns and volunteers, among other projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Each fellow is employed as either a Postdoctoral Research Scholar or an Associate Research Scholar. In both instances the minimum degree requirement is a JD, JD equivalent, or LLM within three years of beginning the fellowship. A candidate will be eligible for an appointment as Associate Research Scholar only if they have already completed a fellowship or postdoctoral training following their law degree. Strong academic qualifications and a background in environmental, natural resources or energy law and policy will be expected.

Oferta de la University of Strathclyde Law School Chancellor Fellow in International, European and/or Comparative Environmental Law
The University of Strathclyde Law School in Glasgow is seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate in the field of International, European and/or Comparative Environmental Law. In particular, we're looking forcandidates interested in the concept of equity and sustainability by critically assessing the interactions among different legal regimes and different levels of regulation. We're also keen to appoint a candidate who is able to work across disciplinary boundaries allowing their work to deliver impact. Experience in socio-legal research and/or legal anthropology will be a bonus.

The successful candidate will work closely with Law School staff in a number of projects and knowledge exchange activities in a field which is at the heart of the University of Strathclyde vision and strategy.

Chancellor Fellows are normally appointed at Lecturer level,the position will last for 5 years during which the fellow will be supported to establish her/his career as a research leader and achieve rapid career progression. Fellows who meet the criteria for promotion by the end of the 5 year period will betransferred to an open-ended ("tenured" equivalent) academic appointment. Chancellor Fellows will hold a PhD, have postdoctoral research experience and an emerging high quality publications record.
