The CEDAT participates in the new edition of the programme Biblioteques Sense Fronteres- Activa’t per la Justícia Ambiental (Libraries Without Borders- Acting for environmental justice-).

The programme Biblioteques Sense Fronteres, compromeses amb un món més just (Libraries Without Borders, committed to a fairer world) is an initiative of the Library Service and the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation of the Government of Catalonia. The 2021 edition revolves around the concept of environmental justice, which applies theories of justice to the environment and ecology. The environmental justice perspective considers nature and the environment as common goods, which imply rights, duties and legal obligations for everyone.

In this edition, the CEDAT involved drawing up the bibliography specialized in environmental sustainability and climate crisis. The compilation of resources and materials addressed to adults, youth and children, including a wide range of formats, such as podcasts, popular science literature, novels, essays, children's stories, teaching guides, songs and environmental education activity guides for parents and teachers. Bibliography objective is to bring citizenship closer to the principal debates and discussions on the current model of life and economic development and provide them with tools to rethink, individually and collectively, solutions to solve the emerging environmental problems.
